Will provide Clean Co Taranaki with access to the premises and to all services and utilities that may be reasonably required by Clean Co Taranaki to complete the services; and
Will provide a safe working environment for any Clean Co Taranaki representative to work in and you will advise of, and take all reasonable steps to eliminate, isolate or minimise any hazards or risks onsite; and

You understand that if Clean Co Taranaki arrives to provide the services and you have not met your obligations under this section, then Clean Co Taranaki may decide that it is not appropriate to provide their services.

Exclusion of Liability & Indemnity

Clean Co Taranaki liability to you arising out of any claim in relation to these Terms will be limited to either the monetary amount of the value of that part of the services giving rise to the claim, the actual damage or loss suffered by you or the sum of $500, whichever is lesser.

Carpet Cleaning
Stains and Pre-existing Damage
Clean Co Taranaki and all representatives agree to take due care and perform our duties to the best of our ability. However, some stains do cause permanent damage so we cannot guarantee the reversal of stains or pre-existing damage and we offer no promises that we can do so.
Wherever possible, our technicians will assess any area of concern and advise the likely outcome prior to starting. If you choose not to proceed with the treatment following advice from our technician you will only be liable for the associated call-out fee. However, if you choose to proceed with the service, you will be liable for all related costs as advised regardless of outcome.
In the case that our technician is unable to remove staining they will be happy to discuss alternative options with you.
In cases where there is pre-existing damage, underlying issues or where stains have been previously treated it is possible that cleaning the area may inadvertently cause further damage. Any such risk may not be obvious to our technician prior to starting and all services are delivered in good faith. Therefore, you agree and acknowledge that you will not hold us liable in this regard.
In either case, your engagement of our services constitutes an agreement that you will not hold us liable or withhold payment for services rendered based on an unsatisfactory outcome due to stains or pre-existing/underlying damage as outlined above.
Industrial Cleaning Solutions
Industrial cleaning solutions may be used during the cleaning process to the best judgment of our staff, as required.
You agree to the application of these products as considered necessary by your Clean Co Taranaki representative and understand that it is beyond the expertise of our representatives to determine if someone may be sensitive to the application of these agents. You agree and acknowledge that Clean Co Taranaki assumes no responsibility for any adverse reaction to any products used.
Furniture
Clean Co Taranaki technicians will not move any furniture items and if you choose to move these items, you will do so at your own risk.
You understand that any wooden or metal items must be kept off the carpet until it has dried completely as failure to do so may cause permanent damage to your carpet or furniture. You acknowledge and agree that if you choose to move furniture onto the carpet before it is completely dry, Clean Co Taranaki will not be held responsible for any resulting damages.
Window Cleaning
Clean Co Taranaki is not liable for any damages to windows that already have existing damage, including but not limited to chipped paint, cracked glass, or any pre-existing defects. We will not be responsible for any further damage that may occur to such windows during the cleaning process.
While we take utmost care during the cleaning process, some window cleaning activities may involve the use of water, cleaning solutions, and equipment. Clients are advised to remove fragile or valuable items from the vicinity of the windows being cleaned, especially if they are concerned about potential water damage.
Rubbish Removal & Dumping
Our rubbish removal and dumping services are designed to help you dispose of unwanted items and waste materials efficiently and in compliance with local regulations.
It is essential to clearly communicate the type and quantity of waste to be removed to ensure the appropriate equipment and procedures are used.
Waste is categorised into different types, such as general household waste, green waste, construction debris, hazardous materials, and more. It is your responsibility to inform us of what waste requires removal. We reserve the right to refuse the removal of hazardous materials that we’re unable to safely transport.
Clean Co Taranaki removes virtually any item as long as it can be safely lifted by two people, is non-hazardous and not illegal.
When booking a removal job with Clean Co Taranaki you must have the legal right to dispose of the items to be moved.
Prior to removal, the Clean Co Taranaki team will advise you of the price of the job and confirm your acceptance. If you choose to accept the cost quoted the team will undertake removal of the items. Once the quote is accepted further items cannot be added for removal. If you wish the team to remove additional items this will be at an additional cost, to be agreed by you.
Clean Co Taranaki will remove the items and will then either donate, recycle, or dispose of these, at their complete discretion. Once the items have been removed from your site they may not be returned, and no refunds will be provided.
Unless arranged otherwise, you should be on site at the time of removal.

Property Cleaning Service, known as move-out/move in cleaning, bond clean, end of tenancy cleaning
Each Real Estate Agency and Property Manager may have different requirements of their tenants. We encourage you to check your lease agreement for any special requirements and advise us as soon as possible so that we can include these with your service. If we are not aware of these prior to the service they are not covered in the price quoted.
Nicotine / Smoke / Cigarette Smoke Damage: Cleaning of nicotine and staining from smoke or smoking is not covered as part of our cleaning process. It is generally accepted that staining will remain even following intensive cleaning.
Initial Inspection upon Arrival/Final Walkthrough: When our cleaners first arrive at your property they will perform a walk around (with you if you are present) in order to review the service against the quote provided. Should any changes be required (e.g. additional time is required), we will contact you immediately and before any work is performed.
As we always say, it's important to have a walkthrough and sign the final walkthrough checklist on the day of cleaning. This is crucial as it lets you know if all of our work is up to your standards. Sometimes you may find that your schedule does not align with the end of our cleaning service time. We recommend that you arrange for a staff member, member of your family or friend to take care of the cleaning final walkthrough. If you're not satisfied with the clean and want it redone immediately, please tell the cleaner right away so that we can fix it to avoid any disputes in the future. Our cleaners will happily reclean the addressed areas right away.
If for some reason you are not present for the final walkthrough, or you did not sign that Final Walkthrough Checklist, we will consider our service to be 100% completed. You agreed that we comply with consumer rights.
